This is an interesting NBA Draft in that there’s no drama bout who will be the No. 1 pick — Victor Wembanyama, you are a San Antonio Spur — but uncertainty in who will go second and if there will be any significant trades to be made.
For the Cavs, this could be a quiet night — they currently only have one pick, No. 49 overall. But could they move up and get into the 20s or the 30s to make a pick? Could they make a trade that involves any current players, say Cedi Osman’s non-guaranteed contract? These are questions that will get answered later today.
For some NBA Draft reading, here’s the SB Nation community mock draft — there was no Cavs participation here because they do not have a first round pick. There’s also Ricky O’Donnell’s latest mock draft to peruse.
