The Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2023 Summer League roster, headlined by second round pick Emoni Bates and Isaiah Mobley, is set.
Joining Bates and Mobley on the roster are Cavs guard Sam Merrill, last year’s second round picks Luke Travers and Khalifa Diop (both of whom are signed to teams overseas for next year), Cleveland Charge standout Sharife Cooper, two-way signee Craig Porter Jr. and Exhibit 10 signee Pete Nance.
Cavs player development coach Josh Broghamer will coach the team. The full roster is below:

Bates, obviously, pops as a player to watch. He was the team’s only draft pick this year and has a history as a top-rated prospect who, to say the least, has had a winding league in the NBA. What he looks like Las Vegas will be telling about where he’s at as he embarks on his rookie season.
Travers is another one to watch. He was a standout at Summer League last year before going home to play in Australia. Travers will also have his first season with Melbourne United this year after previously playing for the Perth Wildcats. Travers told media in Australia was in part because he wanted to push himself towards being ready to play in the NBA.
The Cavs begin Summer League play on July 7 in a game against the Brooklyn Nets.
